I've been throwing around this idea for an epic Boardwalk Empire rewrite from the New York City's crew POV for a while now.

It'll be along the lines of this amazing Harry Potter rewrite I read years ago of the events of the story from Slytherin House's POV but god, then I remember that would be twelve multi-chaptered stories.

Not to mention fleshing out characters...

And creating mini plots that fit into the overarching theme.

All this sounds very exciting and very daunting. What do you think world? Anyone?

HEEE thank you, Goddess.

I'm torn actually- between the idea of having him have a "healthy" relationship with two women...that aren't his wife or staying a little true to history, his mistress drank herself to death...

-_-' What about you? Are you much of a fic-writer?

(And that was me turning so red someone mistook me for a tomato.)

I used to be, but I haven't written a fic worthy to see the light in years. Now I try to complete some screenplays, (hallo, film student here) part of several pet projects of mine, in the hopes I can sell them and turn them into movies.

I tend to prefer sticking as close as possible to historical accuracy (that's why it took me centuries to finally appreciate "The Tudors" and it's going to be the same with "The Borgias" until I manage to overlook the inaccuracies. Suppose that it comes with being sister to an historian.), so my recommendation would be to take the accurate approach, since, as far as I know, the series does so (but alas, I don't know as much as I would want to about the United States in the 1920s)

Though, in the end, you are the writer, and that's your decision. ;)
